It did work out well that their outfits coordinated! :)
On Kate's necklace...it was precious to find out that her necklace had the Chinese symbols meaning wishes for a blessed life and bright future. Also, below all her layers of clothes was a jade necklace. They loved her so much!
Oh my goodness! That is amazing about her necklaces! Wow! I LOVE the shadow boxes, and verse so much! So much better than tucking them away insode of a closet :) I am inspired... Thank you for sharing :) Sara
Wow! What a great way to show the girls beautiful outfits. Did you have the outfits professional framed? Such a neat way to display their homecoming outfits. Any advice
That is so sweet about Kate's necklaces - don't you love finding out more about her story?
Where did you find the scripture? I don't remember seeing that one in UPCL, but maybe I was wrong! I am trying to get ahold of the coat that Mya wore in her referral pictures (and her first birthday) because I have dreams about it! I'd love to put it in a shadow box with her referral picture :)
You all should totally do this...it's like having a part of museum history on the wall, makes me smile and remember how far we have all come since that first meeting.
I got the shadow box frames at Hobby Lobby (for 50% off), and just arranged them with pins. I asked at great Etsy dealer to custom do a vinyl lettering saying for me, she's now selling it on her shop...
Mom to two beautiful girls, married to one of the nicest guys on the planet, friend and family to some absolutely amazing people, and have a fantastic job in the tourism industry. I feel very blessed and even though the road has never been easy...that's taught me to truly appreciate the beauty of life!
What a fabulous idea! I love this wall!
ReplyDeletePrecious! I love that scripture...it is very near and dear to my heart!!
